Inspiration
"I painted this from memory. I spotted these two grazing while driving to a local nursery. Since I was the one driving, I couldn't snag a picture. However, what I remember was one of them giving me a good stare as I passed by. This memory stayed with me and I had to find a way to paint it.  It's a special piece."

The Process - Since this painting was primarily painted from memory, I had to rely on a fair amount of sketching. It took me a few weeks to come up with a composition that would help me narrate this story. It is a sweet memory.
