"This painting is a memory from Rome, where giant fountains seem to be woven into the fabric of the city. I remember pausing during my vacation in 2024 to take in one of these wonderfully ordinary moments—birds gathering at their neighborhood fountain, seemingly going about their day, sharing the latest gossip at their water cooler.
I wanted the painting to hold onto that feeling of slowing down and noticing something so simple, so familiar, and yet so extraordinary. I hope this painting makes you pause."
